Press Brake Operator

Responsibilities
- Ability to read drawing plans and operate Press Brake control panel.
- Press Brakes are precision equipment, being off by millimeters could mean critical errors.
- Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
- Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints.
- Check height, depth, and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments.
- Configuring equipment and calibrating gauge settings, recognizing conditions of dies, loading material onto the equipment, feeding material through die, and positioning and removing parts from die.
- Keep a record of number of pieces made and routine equipment maintenance performed.
- Read work schedule to ascertain production information, such as size, type, and quantity to be processed.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma (preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience in the field or related area
- Familiar with CNC controls
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs
