Before implementing the new technology Friesen’s relied on third-party outsourcing that struggled with quality control and reliable availability. To control our quality process, Friesen's implemented a Helix sectional flight-making machine for producing hygienic sectional flighting. This cutting-edge technology is one of the first of its kind in North America.

This technology provides more consistent sizes and quality to the sectional flights to enhance the food safety qualifications. The tolerance fit-ups are greatly improved while reducing labor in the welding and finishing processes in manufacturing.
